The very first chapter of the Bible contains a verse that holds profound significance for every human being: “ So God created man  in His  own  image; in the image of God He created him;  male and female He created them. ” Genesis 1:27 NKJV. This verse is not only foundational to understanding who we are but also invites us into a life of purpose, dignity, and connection with God and one another. A Divine Reflection To be created in God’s image means that we reflect aspects of His nature. God is Spirit, infinite and holy, and while we are finite beings, He has given us qualities that mirror His character. These include our capacity for creativity, reason, love, justice, and relationship. Just as an artist’s work reflects their essence, so we are God’s masterpiece, designed to reflect His glory in the world. " For we are God’s masterpiece.
